7:05 am: The wave size is smaller than yesterday, with still some swell left with the wave size mostly around 1 to 2 feet. Our local winds are currently light west @ less than 5 knots. The marine forecast calls for N then SE winds today. Our local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 2.3 feet at 10 seconds down from yesterdays 2.6 feet at 9 seconds. The water temperature is measured at 81.3 degrees offshore again this morning. You can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.
.
7:55 am: Early morning photos are up in box #1 and you can see we have smaller waves but yes still waves for your Friday. A little smaller overall with knee to waist high glassy lines rolling in. Cleanest conditions will be early, with the offshore wind. A SE seabreeze will bump it up later today…
.
3:30 pm: New afternoon photos are up in box #2 and you can see there waves are a little smaller and choppier than earlier. Smaller than yesterday and smaller than this morning so not as good of surf. With that said, there is a little bit of a bounceback on the local buoy so we may see a push in our swell before dark. It ain’t over yet as far as this swell……
