If you make it plain you like people,
it’s hard for them to resist liking you back
Nature is often hidden, sometimes overcome, seldom extinguished.
Amazing day, best one yet

6:55 am: Slightly smaller surf starts out the day. Wave size 1.5 to 2 feet, occasionally a little larger. It’s semi-glassy to glassy with light SSW winds early. . On our local buoy the early morning wave height reading of 3.9 feet at 11 seconds, down from yesterdays 5.9 feet at between 8 and 12 seconds. The marine forecast calling for early very light wind to shift SE this afternoon and increase. The water temperature is measured at 70 degrees at The Pier this morning. And you can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.
.
7:45 am: Early morning photos are posted in box #1 and you can see we still have waves for your Wednesday. Each day it does drop too much with this morning ahidn in there @ thigh to waist high with likely some larger set waves. The surfers weren’t catching many waves, so didn’t get a picture of a surfer riding a wave to tell how big it was. The ocean is semi-glassy with light SSW winds. If it clocks more SW to west it will get cleaner. This afternoon it is forcast to be SE, which would bump it up. So the morning surf will be best, before the wind shift…..
.
3:45 pm: New afternoon photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see it’s way smaller now. What a different from the past few days! Much small overall with only knee high to maybe thigh high semi-choppy waves this afternoon. Will we get a push with incoming ide? We will see….. there is still a little bit of swell on the buoy offshore….
.
Left up from last night:
9:00 pm: The are over 50 new evening photos up in box #3 and you can the swell has cleaned up. Not super clean but some way less messy and fun waves around The Dredge this evening. Waves waist to rib high with some larger peaks and lines. Still pushing left, with some rights too. A sand point break forming in our home town. How good will it get? We will record what we see in the days and weeks ahead. And how will the surf be in the morning? We will be back early to report what we see then too.
And this will do it until early in the morning.. over and out…
