DetailsDanielle’s swell dropped quickly and this morning we woke up to clean waist high leftovers. We went out on boat hoping to find an island with a bit more swell and catch some big fish in the process. What we found were big rocks, little waves, and small fish. Oh well. We still caught dinner…

DetailsThe surf came up today as expected thanks to Hurricane Danielle. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite as big as we’d hoped it would be. There were some inconsistent head high sets at times which peeled nicely down the rock points up this way. Nothing amazing, but super fun. Certainly not complaining. Looks like Earl has picked…

7:25 am: The waves are looking super small early on this Saturday morning. Looks ankle to shin high early with choppy surface conditions. The wind is sideshore N and is increasing. On the local St. Augustine Buoy the wave height measurements is 2.3 feet at 3 seconds changed from yesterdays 1.3 feet at 3 seconds.
