Surf Reports comments:

7:05 am: Onshore winds again overnight. It has not built the surf much… but it does look a little bigger. Wave size 1 foot to occasionally 1.5 feet. The wind is onshore SE @ 11-16 mph causing semi-choppy to choppy surface conditions. The marine forecast calls for the wind to be brisk SE today. On the local buoy, the early morning reading is 3.0 feet at 6 seconds up from yesterdays’ 2.3 feet at 4 seconds. The upstream in our ESE swell window, the Canaveral East buoy is showing an east wind swell @ 4.6 feet at 7 seconds up from yesterdays 4 feet at 6 seconds. You can see the ocean live by checking the surf station cams for a live look.

7:55 am: Early morning photos are up in box #1 and on second look the waves look bigger than the first look. More like 1-2 feet, knee to up to waist high. Seeing some thigh high waves on the broken up lines that are pushing in. Onshore winds on top chopping it up, but it is also helping to increase the surf…

Left up from yesterday:

1:00 pm: New mid morning and mid day photos are up in box #2 and you can see the surf has not come up much since earlier today. And the not good news is the local buoy has not increased at all, in fact decreased in wave height measurements. So look for very small choppy surf for the afternoon and likely into the evening as well. The good news is, it’s a great day at the beach, with bright sunny blue clear skies and the sunshine is slowly warming the water up….
