7:00 am: Wave height this morning is in the thigh high range or so, with some closer to waist high sets at times. There is a bit of a mix out there and it’s breaking a little weird about an hour after high tide, but there are some cleaner faces, and it could improve in form as the tide switches here. The marine forecast is calling for light S winds early, increasing from the SW as we head into this afternoon. On the local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 3.6 feet at 13 seconds changed from yesterdays 3.6 feet at 5 seconds. The water temperature is measured at 65.7 degrees at The Pier this morning. View The Surf Station Cam Page here. The morning photos up next….

10:40 am: New mid morning photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see we have some fun mid morning waves. Some sunshine at the beach before the rain and cool weather come. Still some over thigh high waves at times. and it’s nice at the beach, as of report time….

2:00 pm: New afternoon photos are up and posted in box #3 and you can see it’s somewhat windblown as the wind clocks sideshore to siedoffshore. If it would clock a little more it would clean up and the surf get better. It’s sidshoreish as of report time….
