7:30 am: The waves have decreased overnight, but there’s still some clean waves out there for your Sunday. The waves are in the 1-2 foot range with larger sets, but we’re mostly seeing waves in the knee high or so range. The surface conditions are semi-glassy to glassy with our local winds blowing out of the WSW @ 7 knots. Our local buoy early wave height measurement is 2.3 feet @ 11 seconds, down from yesterday’s reading of 5.6 feet at 11 seconds. The marine forecast is calling for the winds to ease midday, then increase out of the East later this afternoon. You can watch the waves firsthand on our live surf cam page.
