Surf Reports comments:

6:45 am: The surf has continued it’s slide yet again and has dropped some more overnight. Waves down to around 1/2 a foot to occasionally 1 foot. Surface conditions are glassy with the wind WSW @ around 3-6 mph early. Our marine forecast is calling for offshore winds today. On the local buoy, the early morning reading is 1.6 feet at 8 seconds, down from yesterdays 2.0 feet at 8 seconds. You can see the ocean live on our cams page here.

7:30 am: Early morning photos are up in box #1 and I’ll say what i said yesterday, it ain’t flat. Yet smaller overall but there are some shin to maybe knee high glassy inside peelers. upon occasion. Check out the sequence of photos at the end of the slide show where a freak set pushed through that looked fully ridable and, even fun. So grab the small wave equipment board or boards and give it a go if today is your beach day……

12:00 pm: It’s looking a bit better down here at the Flagler College alumni surf contest compared to early this morning. The waves are looking to be in the 1/2 a foot to maybe 1 foot range with good condition. Our local winds are currently blowing out of the W @ about 8 knots, making for glassy surface conditions. Our local buoy is currently reading 1.6 feet @ 9 seconds, down just a touch from early this morning. Again, it’s looking like there’s been some improvement from first thing this morning, we have a high tide coming up just after noon so if you’re looking to surf, break out your big board at your favorite high tide spot.
