7:15 am: The waves look a little smaller at first look. Wave size early looks is around knee to maybe occasionally thigh high. The surface conditions are glassy, with offshore SSW winds early. The local marine forecast calling for very much increasing offshore winds today. On the local buoy our early morning wave height measurement is 2.0 feet at 11 seconds very similar to yesterdays 2.0 feet at 12 seconds . You can see the ocean live here on our north side pier cam

7:55 am: Early morning photos are up in box #1 and you can see it;s still glass as we start the day. The waves are less consistent with some lulls where the ocean looks flat. But hang out as once in a while a nice set wave will roll through. See the 6 photo sequence of a nice left in the middle of the slide show.

6:15 pm: Evening photos are up in box #3 and yes there were waves all the way up till dark! A good surf day. One surfer came in the shop and said today was better than yesterday? Was it? Maybe it was maybe it wasn’t. In any case let’s hope for more tomorrow.. We will be back early early to report what we see… over and out.
