Surf Reports comments:
6:35 am: After fun waves over the weekend with more size, the waves have dropped down overnight. Smaller waves as we start out the work week with the early morning call at 1 to 1.5 feet. Surface conditions are semi-glassy to glassy, with the wind super light SW, and the marine forecast calling for S winds today. On the local buoy, the early morning wind wave height reading is 2.3 feet @ 5 seconds (swell component 0.7 ft @ 15 seconds) changed quite a bit from yesterday’s 3.3 feet @ 8 seconds. The swell direction has rotated from NE over the weekend to mixed easterly this morning with the near shore current reversing from yesterday, now a slight drift to the north. You can see the surf conditions live on our cams page here.

7:05 am: Early morning photos are up in box #1 and you can see smaller waves for your Monday. Smaller overall with knee high to maybe thigh high semi-glassy to glassy waves on occasion. It’s way inconsistent with the waves in between sets less than knee high. Hang around long enough and there are some waves to be had on the small wave equipment…
.
12:15 pm: New mid morning photos are up in box #2 and you can see some sweet waves at times! What the report doesn’t show you is how long the lulls are in between sets. Looks quite small in between. Overall clean at mid morning but we do not know how long it will last. The surf campers are having a good time getting ready for a good surf day at surf camp…..
