Surf Reports comments:
6:30 am: The waves are looking small early on this Monday morning. It’s semi-glassy with very light winds eaerly. Wave size 1/2 a foot to 1 foot. The marine forecast is calling for E winds at 10-15 knots this afternoon. On the local buoy, the good news is our early wave height reading has increased to 2.3 feet at 5 seconds in ESE swell, up in size from yesterday’s 1.6 feet @ 8 seconds. While most of the increase is in close period wind waves, there is also a noticeable uptick in long period (12 sec) east swell. You can see the surf conditions live on our cams page here.
