On day 5 we surfed Wategos and explored the spectrum of speeds within surfing. Whether experiencing the slow fluidity of a log or the explosive speed of something shorter, it’s all surfing and all waterborne experiences contribute to your volume of surfing knowledge. 7:15 am: The waves look yet smaller than yesterday as we start out your Saturday. The surf is only shin knee high. The surface conditions are glassy with the wind offshore W early. On the local St. Augustine Buoy the wave height measurements 2.3 feet at 3 seconds changed from yesterdays 1.3 feet at 11 seconds .
