7:35 am: The weather is yet colder at the beach early this morning. Finally super clear skies with waves @ 6 inches to 1 foot. It’s semi-glassy with chilly WNW winds @ 8-10 knots. The marine forecast is calling for the wind to be NW @ 5-10 knots. On the local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 3.3 feet at 6 seconds down in size from yesterdays 4.6 feet at 5 seconds. The water temperature is measured at 63 degrees at The Pier this morning. View The Surf Station Cam Page here. The morning photos up next….

8:20 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 and you can see the waves are quite small and breaking on the far inside. Angled N swell peaks and lines pushing down the beach from north to south. Super bright sunshine! Hopefully it will warm up this cold day….

1:00 pm: New afternoon photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see we have a small scale north swell trickling in. The local buoy is showing a small north swell , and along the beach you can see it…. it’s just very small overall…. Shin to knee high or so. Possibly a thigh high peak, but when you go down the line, it’s more like shin to knee high. It’s ridable , for sure., although if you ride too far, yer fin is gonna drag bottom : )
