The soul would have no rainbow
Had the eyes no tears.
The happy man is not he who seems thus to others,
but who seems thus to himself.
Super large perfect 4-6 foot waves today!

7:45 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 and in the photos are waves that look a little bigger than what I was seeing when I made the 7:05 am first call. Yes it’s small overall, but there are some knee high to thigh high semi-glassy waves on occasion. You can see them in the photos. Gosh but when ya first pull up, if it’s in between sets, it looks real super small, more like shin high. Shin high is not inviting to surf, whereas thigh high is! We will see what happens as the day goes on…..

1:00 pm: We have some continued smaller scale surf this Wednesday midday with just fair form. The waves are looking to be in the half a foot to a foot range mostly, with some occasional thigh high sets mixed in there. It’s looking weak at report time, with our local winds currently blowing out of the SSE @ 8 knots. It’s looking pretty small scale and mushy at report time, there’s still a little something out there to ride today. It may be a good day to get out and break out your single fin to get ready for this weekend’s Single Fin Hoe Down.

6:50 pm: New evening photos are up and posted in box #3 and you can see it’s choppy overall The euurf is ont he small side with some knee to thigh high waves . There is possibly a waist high peak. It’s junky and sloppy with onshore winds. Some of the surfers in the photos were ripping and having fun!
And let’s hope this swell holds for the weekend . We will be back in the morning to report what we see.. over and out..
