6:55 am: The waves are a little bigger than this time yesterday. A little big larger surf with the wave size @ 1 to 2 feet. The wind is sideshore S early this morning @ 5-6 knots. On our St Augustine buoy the current morning reading is 5.2 feet at 7 seconds up in size from yesterdays’s 2.6 feet at 11 seconds. The marine forecast calling for the wind to clock SW today. The water temperature is measured at 76.6 degrees again this morning at The Pier this morning, You can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

7:45 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 and you can see we have Increased size in the surf! Later in the slide show there is a sequence of 2 surfers paddling out. One of them is Miles Strange for sure, and that peak that breaks in front of him look at least chest high! Will likely update the size, upward, on the next report(s).
Now, with this new knowledge that the surf is bigger than yesterday, and if the wind clocks offshore (as forecast, ) we could be in for some really funs surf ahead., We will see….

3:15 pm: New photos from mid day and early afternoon are up in box #2 and you can see we have fun surf along the beach and also at The Dredge. Where else can you find a man made sand point break?
Some rain pushed though and the wind went offshore late morning and this cleaned up the surf, which had come up since yesterday and overnight. The clean conditions were short lived and some of the photos arf from when the wind was offshore, and some were taken after the wind went back sideshore to sidonshore. So variable conditions and depends on when you caught it as to how good it was.
Now, will get good again? it just may as offshore winds are in the forecast, so stay tuned….
