6:50 am: Waves look a little smaller than this time yesterday Wave height this morning is around knee high or so , looking at it real early. The wind is west as can be seen from the Surf Station Weather Station with another look can be seen at The Pier. The marine forecast. is calling for west winds, then shifting onshore later
Checking in on at our local buoy the early wave height measurement is 2.0 feet at 11 seconds down in size from yesterdays 3.6 feet at 11 seconds. Here is a look at the further out East Canaveral Buoy this morning.
The swell direction measured by the Buoy Swell Combined Polar Spectrum shows 2 directions of the angle of todays swell with the primary angle backed around to 72 degrees, shifted from 127 degrees yesterday.
