Surf Reports comments:

6:55 am: The wind remained onshore overnight, so a semi-choppy look early. The waves look similar in size with the wave size 1 to occasionally up to 2 feet. Only fair form with the marine forecast calling for the wind to be E @ today. On the local buoy, the early morning reading is 2.6 feet at 8 seconds changed slightly from yesterdays 2.3 feet at 9 seconds . You can see the ocean live by checking the surf station cams for a live look.

7:30 am: Early morning photos are up in box #1 with a great cosmic sunrise @ St. Augustine Beach! Waves are not consistent with the in between sets wave size around knee high. Some occasional thigh high waves. Semi-choppy with the onshore wind. Yesterday the wave size bumped up after sunrise. Will it do it again today in St. Auggie? Dean says it should since east swell on the Canaveral East buoy is holding 3.6-3.9 ft @ 9 seconds. We will see....

Left up from yesterday:

12:45 pm: New mid to late morning photos are up in box #2 and you can see some of the waves look fun! The waves are a little bigger than early this morning. The wind has turned onshore so it’s becoming a little bit choppy now, and will likely get choppier…..
