6:55 am: The waves are a little smaller than yesterday. Wave size @ 1-2 feet, with some slightly larger set waves still left The wind is sideoffshore SSW early. On our St Augustine buoy the current morning reading is 3.9 feet at 6 seconds down from yesterdays 5.2 feet at 7 seconds . The marine forecast calling for the wind to be SW @ 15-20 knots today. The water temperature is measured at 76.6 degrees again this morning at The Pier this morning, You can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

7:45 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 and you can see semi-glassy with some lines for your Wednesday. Some knee high to thigh high, occasionally a little larger waves to be had, in case you missed it yesterday, or just want a little more of this swell. How long will the swell hold? Watch the St Augustine buoy and as long as there ESE or SE swell with a little size, we should still have waves. Coming offshore winds will make the swell smaller, but clean it up as the same time.

Left up from yesterday:
3:15 pm: New photos from mid day and early afternoon are up in box #2 and you can see we have fun surf along the beach and also at The Dredge. Where else can you find a man made sand point break?
Some rain pushed though and the wind went offshore late morning and this cleaned up the surf, which had come up since yesterday and overnight. The clean conditions were short lived and some of the photos arf from when the wind was offshore, and some were taken after the wind went back sideshore to sidonshore. So variable conditions and depends on when you caught it as to how good it was.
Now, will get good again? it just may as offshore winds are in the forecast, so stay tuned….
