6:45: The waves have dropped a bit more from yesterday, with waves in the half a foot to maybe one foot range. Conditions are clean and weak early, with our local winds currently blowing out of the S @ just 4 knots. Waves are in the shin to maybe knee high range, with an early morning reading from our local buoy coming in at 2.0 feet @ 12 seconds, down from yesterday’s 3 foot readings. Overall, the conditions are looking small and weak with a low tide approaching at 9:42 this morning. There is a potential for a push once that tide starts to turn around. The marine forecast calling for E winds @ 5-10 knots later today. The water temperature is measured at 74.1 degrees at The Pier this morning. You can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

11:45 am: It’s looking to be in the half a foot to maybe a foot range with fairly clean conditions. Our local winds have swung around light onshore, with winds currently blowing out of the ESE @ 8 knots. There’s just a bit of light texture due to those light onshore winds, but the conditions are still pretty clean overall. It’s small and breaking close to shore with waves in the knee high or so range. If you’re wanting to get out and surf today, I would say it’s best to find a little incoming tide sandbar and break out the longboard.

1:50 pm: The waves are looking similar to earlier this morning, with waves mostly in the 1 to 2 foot range. There’s a bit more chop on it than earlier, as the winds have switched onshore, currently blowing out of the ENE @ 10 knots. There’s a bit more texture and the waves are looking pretty weak, but there are some waist high sets to be had at key spots.
