7:15 am: definitely still some swell out there this Sunday morning with the wave height in the thigh to waist high+ range or so. Very choppy and mixed up conditions out there early today, stronger side-onshore winds are knocking the surf down a bit.. On our local buoy the early morning wave height reading of 6.6 feet at 10 seconds, up from yesterdays 5.9 feet at 6 seconds. The marine forecast calling for increasing onshore/side-onshore winds through the afternoon. The water temperature is measured at 72.9 degrees at The Pier this morning.
