Surf Reports comments:
7:05 am: Good morning! with TD#3 born off our coast, the waves have increased overnight . Wave size @1-2+ feet and is on the incrase. The surface conditions are semi-choppy to choppy with the wind N to NNE at 5-12 mph with the marine forecast is calling for increasing N winds today. On the local buoy, the early morning wave height reading is 4.6 feet at 5 seconds, well up from yesterdays 2.6 feet at 5 seconds. You can see the surf conditions live on our cams page here.
3:00 pm: New mid day photos are up in box #3 taken around and off The Pier with the wind super light so still glassy at mid day. Some clean little lines that look a little weaker than the mid morning report. Because of this, I bumped back down the surf factor. Still some waves to get out there on, with cooler water helping moderate the air temperature at the beach, which is oh so nice. What a beautiful day! The wind may pick up some as the afternoon goes on.
