7:15 am: Looks a bit smaller and weaker than yesterday out there, a bit choppier as well with the surf mostly in the thigh high range. Possibly some closer to waist high sets at times, could improve a bit as the tide comes in here, long as the wind doesn’t get on it too much..The marine forecast calls for the lighter SW winds to switch E later today. Our local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 2.3 feet at 9 seconds, down in size from yesterday 3.3 feet @ 11 seconds. The water temperature is measured at 83.7 degrees offshore again this morning, it may be cooler along the beach . You can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

1:45 pm: New afternoon photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see it’s smaller than it has been + it’s choppy this afternoon too. Some rain but that’s not helping much. With that said, there are waves to be had for any takers…
