6:55 am: The surf looks smaller than yesterday with the waves size @ 1/2 a foot to barely 1 foot. The surface conditions are semi-glassy with the wind near calm, to light SW at less than 5 knots. Our local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 1.3 feet at 8 seconds down from yesterdays 1.6 feet at 9 seconds. Our local marine forecast calls for the offshore winds early, then light S this afternoon . The water temperature is measured at 82.9 degrees offshore this morning. You can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.
