6:30 am: The wind has lighted up some since yesterday so the surf is not as blown out this morning. Wave size looks similar in size to last night, based on first look, and the buoy readings offshore. We are going to call it 2-3 feet on first look. It’s still early and hard to get a good look. The wind is much lighter than expected, currently measured as E @ 9 knots early early at The Pier. The marine forecast is calling for strong E winds today. On our local buoy the early morning reading is 5.2 feet at 8 seconds down from yesterdays 5.6 feet at 5 seconds ,.
