Quote Of The Day
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
Yesterday's Quote of the Day
“Dude I’m so stoked! I know it’s a shot in the dark to ask people to donate but we are on the final push to get this thing built.”
~ Robbie Wiles on the hope for a new beach access to the waves in the Crescent Beach area. The Go Fund Me page is here
Classic Quote of the Month
What happened with the Hurricane Larry swell is we had great waves for days and days and days; more than 3 days of really good surf! What that does is not just enhance our mood, but creates a total positive mindset change.
~Tory Strange on The Hurricane Larry swell

7:00 am: The surf looks like the wind swell of yesterday is starting to fade. Waves look to be about thigh to waist high at first light. The local buoy is currently running 3.3ft @ 6-10 seconds out of the E/ENE. Local winds are still blowing decently strong at 8-9 knots out of the NNE. There are some rideable peaks both on the inside and outside sandbars this morning. The inside may be fun as the tide continues to fill in towards mid day. You can check our regional buoys here, Check the Surf Station You Tube Live Cam for a live look at the surf this morning. The up to the minute wind data can be seen on the Surf Station Weather Station
