7:15 am: Wve height this morning is around Knee to thigh high, light WSW offshore winds this morning are making for mostly clean conditions but it is breaking fairly shallow and weak at the moment.could improve a little bit with the incomnig tide though. The wind is NNE as can be seen from the Surf Station Weather Station with another look can be seen at The Pier. The marine forecast. is calling for an increasing NE shifting to SE winds today
Checking in on at our local buoy the early wave height measurement is 1.6 feet at 11 seconds down from yesterdays 2.6 feet at 12 seconds . Here is a look at the further out East Canaveral Buoy this morning.
The swell direction measured by the Buoy Swell Combined Polar Spectrum shows the direction of the angle of todays swell with the primary angle 62degrees this morning, clocking from yesterdays 82 degree reading.
