6:50 am: Waves look smaller than this time yesterday. It has dropped quite a bit. Wave height this morning is looking shin to knee high, looking at it early. The wind is W as can be seen from the Surf Station Weather Station with another look can be seen at The Pier. The marine forecast. is calling for an increasing NE wind later today
Checking in on at our local buoy the early wave height measurement is 1.6 feet at 13 seconds down from yesterdays 3.3 feet at 11 seconds, . Here is a look at the further out East Canaveral Buoy this morning.
The swell direction measured by the Buoy Swell Combined Polar Spectrum shows the direction of the angle of todays swell with the primary angle 82 degrees this morning, clocking from yesterdays 55 degree reading.
