7:15 am: It’s cold at the beach this morning. A strong cold front has pushed through bringing much colder air. The offshore winds of yesterday have dropped the swell. Small 1/2 a foot to 1 foot N swell waves. Chilly WNW winds early. The marine forecast is forecasting brisk cold NW winds today . On the local St. Augustine Buoy the wave height measurements is 4.6 feet at 5 seconds changed from yesterdays 4.3 feet at 5 seconds . 10:15 am: Quite chilly at the beach at mid morning. And the surf oh so small. You can see on the Surf Station Surf Cam there is not much size. Big bumps on the horizon and those bumps are waves heading somewhere south of here…
