7:05 am: The ocean is choppy again this morning and the surf is similar in size. Wave size is 2 to 3 feet, occasionally a little larger. Brisk onshore NE winds so bumpy and mixed up. The marine forecast is calling for strong NE winds @ 15-20 knots today. On the local St. Augustine Buoy the wave height measurements is 6.2 feet at 8 seconds down a tad from yesterdays 6.6 feet at 8 seconds. Our live cam page is here with a closer up look here: Surf Station Surf Cam. On the Surf Station Weather Station you can see the wind direction and speed on our live wind meter: check it out here.
12:00 pm: Some choppy looking surf coming in at the moment. Waves are looking to be in the waist to chest high range with some larger sets. New pics in box #2
4:45 pm: Continued surf as we head toward Saturday night. Once in a while some spray off some of the rights with the northerly wind. But for the most part it is onshore and choppy. New photos are up in box #3. You can see some could be fun waves are out there and could be had. Not seeing anyone out.
And this will do it until early in the morning…. over and out….
