7:15 am: The waves are choppy this morning with onshore winds. Wave height looks thigh to rib, occasionally a little larger. The wind is ESE @ 12-16 knots. On the local St. Augustine Buoy the early wave height reading is 6.6 feet at 10 seconds changed from yesterdays 7.2 feet @7 seconds. The marine forecast is calling for brisk SE winds today. See the hourly wind here and ‘up to the minute’ wind on the Surf Station Weather Station here).
