Surf Reports comments:
7:05 am: Good morning! Hazy this morning with the wave size around 1 to occasionally up to 2 feet. The wind is S with the marine forecast calling for increasing SE winds today. On the local buoy, the early morning wave height reading is 2.6 feet at 5 seconds down some from yesterday mornings 3.9 feet at 6 seconds. You can see the ocean live on our cams page here.
.
7:35 am: Early morning photos are up in box #1 and you can see the ESE directional waves for your Thursday. Wave size around knee to thigh high, with a possibly larger set wave. It’s semi-glassy @ report time with the waves looking somewhat mushy early, so far today. The form will be determined by how much the wind picks up. It is fairly light, as of report time…

8:20 am note from Dean: Well, it ain’t huge and it ain’t flat. Even though the St. Auggie buoy is down in size and has a shorter period this morning, and first look had the low tide blues, the swell should bounce back some on the incoming tide. Why? Further out in our swell window the harbinger NE Bahamas buoy is holding strong this morning at 3.9 feet, of which 3.6 feet is ESE/SE swell with period spreading out a bit to 8 seconds.
