Name: Paige Atkinson Draper

DOB: July 22nd

Hometown: St.Augustine, FL

Homebreak: 16TH Street

Nickname: Pahina, Pajzee, and hopefully you’ll never know RagePaige

Sponsors: My Husband- lol, and once upon a time the Autrey family, not only did they hook me up with shred sticks, they let me crash their couch, took me on surf trips and gave me excellent advice when I was just a teeny bopper…

Favorite wave to surf? A glassy left at Salt Creek, CA – St.Augustine, fl – where ever really…

Favorite food? Mexican, or legit Italian food – like you have to order it from a place down an alley that looks like its someone’s house in Rome…

Front side/ back side: Frontside!

Have any pets? Cinnamon the old lady pittbull, Polly the crazy cocker spaniel, and Joe the black mafia cat.

Favorite board: My first longboard from Warrior Surfboards, its an oldie but a goodie!

What’s your take on how women are treated in todays surfing society? I think it has come a long way, I feel like women surfers are respected in and out of the water now. They have their own tour, get paid to do what they love and they can bring light to other important things going on in the world, I’d say we’re doing pretty well!

One or my best memories was surfing at Vilano and some Ponte Vedra dude cut me off really bad and said some cliché “stupid girl” remark, the local guys stood up for me and made him get out of the water! I felt so loved and respected!

Any bad habits? Coffee and chocolate!

Hopes and Dreams/Life Goals: I strive to live a simple life. I’m married to my best friend; we own a home, have a gaggle of pets and will hopefully start a family soon. My job is flexible and allows me to travel, enjoy time with my friends, and soak in St.Augustine and the ocean! I’m stoked on living easy and taking an adventure whenever I can.

What do you enjoy most in your spare time (besides surfing)? I love to travel, spend time with my wolf pack and cook!

Best advice for all those youngin surfers out there: Be a fish! Soak in the water and the sun and know that the ocean is as ever-changing as life is so learn to go with the flow or you’ll just be fighting the current.

If you could be anywhere in the world, where would you be? If everywhere at once where possible, id be there.
