So, it did rain yesterday, as predicted, and there's a 60% chance that it's going to rain today also. I checked the radar though, and it could possibly just pass us, but if it doesn't it won't be until a little bit later in the afternoon that it hits us! 12:00 update... I guess I was wrong, the sky is about to drop down on us! Give the shop a call, and if there's no answer, the shop is closed due to the rain.

I told you that I'd keep you updated on the storms that are coming, and according to www.weather.com, there's an 80% chance of storms all day tomorrow. So get skating while you can, because you're probably going to be stuck inside tomorrow!

It's been so nice out, I hope every one has been taking advantage, because I just checked out the weather and starting tomorrow there's a 30% or more chance of rain for the next week. We'll see how that goes, and I'll let you know when the storms are coming!

It's the 1st day of June which means you've got only 9 days until school is done for the Summer! Also, the Concrete Rodeo contest is being held at our park one more time this Sunday. We're not absolutely sure on the details, but we'll keep you updated as soon as we find out!

It's HOT, HOT, HOT today, so hopefully the rain water will evaporate in the kiddie park, because I know everyone it itching to skate it. Once the water is gone, there is bound to be a lot of mud, so go inside and grab a broom and help clean it up!
I did check the radar today, and it looks like the rain might stay away finally! If you have a doubt though, give us a call and we can tell you if it's raining at that moment or not, but we CANNOT tell you when it's going to rain. 829-3555

The downpour was unexpected yesterday, so I remembered to check the weather today. It says it's supposed to rain tonight, but I saw nothing on the radar that indicated rain, but hey, I'm not a meteorologist :) The kiddie park is still pretty dirty too, it's going to take some team work to clean it up, so come help Kyle out!
Also, Skate Camp starts in a couple of weeks. If you are interested you need to get up to the park and have a parent sign the form for you. Here's some of the basic info..Only 15 skaters per week, so sign up soon! Available dates are as follows ::: *June 15-19 *June 22-26 *July 13-17 *July 27-31 *Aug.10-14 *August 17-21Camp starts at 8 am & ends at 12 pm every day.The cost is $200 which includes expert instruction, snacks, drinks, a skate camp T-Shirt and a weeks worth of having the park to yourselves!If you have any questions, give us a call. 829-3555

If you haven't heard the news already, 3 boys broke into the shop Tuesday at 2 am. The police were not able to catch them, unfortunately, but they retrieved most of our merchandise. Good or bad news first for the weather? We'll start with the good : today is looking good for skateboarding :).Here's the bad... I just checked the weather channel online and for every day for a whole week there's chances of rain. I'll keep you updated on when the park is when and when it's not. We aren't psychic though, so if you could refrain from calling the park with this question : "When is it going to rain", we'd be very thankful :). COME SKATE!

Yesterday some of us went to Belle Terre Elementary in Palm Coast. Chris Tincher teaches 4th grade there and they were having a "demo day" of some sort. Skateboarding will be an option for PE next year, so Whitey, Cheyenne, Dustin, Drew and Chris did a few tricks for the kids!

New in the shop as of yesterday... Almost, Powell, and World Industries completes, Baker, Darkstar, Deathwish, Flip and SKATE STATION decks, Indy, Royal and Independent trucks, Protec helmets, and a bunch of new wheels and stickers!
And as usual, here's my version of the weather report.... It's a little bit windy and there's a few clouds, but for the most part, it is just REALLY nice out. No need to waste the day inside!

When I went outside to take this picture, I heard a grom tell another grom "You need a helmet, its the law!". So remember kids, if you dont want to get heckled by your friends wear a helmet.
Luke did this about twenty times before I figured out how to use the camera.

Colby learned how to drop in on a wave board today. I was lucky enough to catch him debating on the 9ft. He dropped the 5ft and 7ft but no 9. I don't blame him though, you won't catch me up there.
The entire park stopped everything just to watch.
