Saturday:
6:55 am: The waves look small to start off this Saturday morning. Our wave height looks about knee high, occ a little bigger. The wind is offshore WNW @ 1-2 knots, the marine forecast calls for S winds @ 10-15 knots (Local up to the minute wind info here). On the Grays Reef Buoy the groundswell height is 1.0 feet at 10 seconds down from yesterdays 1.3 feet at 12.9 seconds. Here is a look at the St. Augustine virtual buoy this morning.
7:40 am: Small surf for your Saturday. With incoming tide is should be longboardable as there is a little line out there. Knee high to knee high plus with glassy conditions early…
10:00 am: The wind is picking up south so it is becoming a little choppy . Small and choppy is the call as we head toward mid day…
1:45 pm: The wind went offshore so it’s semi-glassy now. See photos in box #2
6:30 pm: The surf dropped down some late this afternoon. Real small and weak this evening. Were there waves anywhere around here today? Yes check this photo from just south of here.
We will be back in the morning with a fresh update then… over and out...
