6 Hour Forecast: Sideshore winds this morning with some set waves over waist high. Lumpy and choppy this afternoon when the wind picks up.

Comments:
6:55 am... Looks lumpy this morning.  Not as clean as it has been .  The wind is sideshore N around 8 knots as you can see @ The Pier.   Wave size is about the same.

On th
e local buoy reporting and early wave height reading of 4.6 feet at 9 seconds, changed from yesterdays 4.3 feet at 11 seconds.

The marine forecast is calling for
N then NE winds today.

7:35 am...   Early morning surf photos are up in box #1 and you can see there are still some nice sized peaks pushing through. A little lumpy and sectiony as it's not very clean, but still the surf this morning does not look bad at all.  It has soome push to it when the sets roll in...

12:25 pm... Just got some photos and video form the S side of the pier of shop rippers Ben Sitten and Jonny Barclay. The photos and video make it seem more consistent but there are some fun waist to stomach high peaks every now and then if you got the time. Will likely get a little less consistent as the tide drops and the wind goes onshore....

5:10 pm...    A little smaller and little choppier.   But sometimes still, a just as big set will push through.   It is amazing how this swell has hung around and hung around.  New photos are up in box #3 with an outside set in a couple of the photos. Looks smaller in the other pics, for the most part.  The buoy is hanging in there though, so looks like we'll have waves again tomorrow.
And this will do it until early in the morning.. over and out...
