“Helping Surfers Reach Their Full Potential.” Since the day the doors opened in June of 1984, that has been our goal of the Surf Station (Bored at work??? Check out the complete history here). We try every day to make The Surf Station your most complete resource for surfing supplies in North Florida. For starters, we are the East Coast Warehouse for Al Merrick, the 2004 shaper of the year, and Channel Islands Surfboards. We also carry boards from Inspired, Local Motion, Warrior, Joel Tudor and so on. Take a look at the pictures of the old boardroom, before we began the 3,500 sq foot expansion. We have threads from Hurley, Volcom, Lost, Fox, O’Neill, Rip Curl and Matix, as well as wetsuits from Xcel, O’Neill, Rip Curl and The Surf Station. We’ve got you covered on watches and shades from all the major players: Oakley, Von Zipper, Electric, Nixon, Freestyle, and Vestal. The Surf Station Surf Report is now receiving over 150,000 visits per month! We have come a long way since Tory started his phone report 20 years ago. One thing that we noticed is that a lot of our visitors aren’t from St. Augustine, and we get tons of email asking about stuff we have in stock and if we can ship it. Our goal of the online store to offer the same service, knowledge, and dependability that the Surf Station has been providing since to our loyal customers since 1984.

In the spring of 1999 the Surf Station held St. Augustine's first all girl surf contest. The attendance was phenomenal. So, when the 800 sq. ft. old Subway sandwich shop opened up next to the Surf Station, Tory grabbed all the local girl surfers and together they constructed "The Girl next Door."

The Girl Next Door is the only ALL GIRLS Surf Shop in St. Augustine. Have you been in the lineup lately??? There are a ton of girls ripping. And the girls that work at the Girl Next Door surf, all of them… it is a prerequisite of the job. So if you come in to the GND expect to be able to ask surf questions to someone who knows surfing. GND has clothing from Rusty Girl, Lost, Hurley, Rip Curl, as well as women’s wetsuits from Xcel, Rip Curl and The Surf Station.

The Surf Station II, mostly referred to as the Deuce, is our surf shop in Crescent Beach. At the Deuce, we have a used board room with the largest selection of used boards in North Florida, and a ton of discounted merchandise. Since the Deuce is walking distance to the beach, it doubles as our surf camp headquarters. In the surf camp we provide the board and knowledge to learn to surf much faster than on your own. It is amazing how much it helps to have people in the water helping you, instead of trying to steal your waves. So, if you are shopping for a deal or want to learn to surf or improve your surfing, hit up the Deuce.
