Comments:
6:55 am....  Smaller surf.  It has dropped quite a bit overnight.  Glassy early with real light winds...

On the local buoy , we have an early wave height reading of 2.3 feet at 11 seconds, down from yesterdays 2.6 feet at 11 seconds.

The wind is very light S to SW
(see data here: The Pier) , with the marine forecast is calling for S winds today.

10:15 am..  The wind went S a little while ago so the surf is now becoming semi-choppy.   The super clean conditions of the past few days are no more.  And not near the size either.  So we are going to flop into "low report mode". Why? check this 10:11 am cam clip and you will see why.  Although the ocean is pretty and the water is super clear and clean looking, the surf has dropped to only about a foot on sets.    No need to cover up the photos of yesterdays good looking surf real fast...
We will get new photos up after lunch though...

1:30 pm..   New photos are up in box #2 and boy what a difference a day makes.   Small and now choppy is the call.  The photos speak for themselves...

4:45 pm   Evening note:   The surf looks worse.  Small and barely ridable.   Semi-choppy too.  Good grief.  Two days ago it was so fun... and now it's reduced to this.
We'll call it a day and be back in the morning to try again..  over and out...
