Comments:
6:58 am...  COLD air this morning, with amplified waves in the 1.5 to 2 foot range; of course there is a chance for larger sets up and down the beach... Winds NNW at 5-7 at report time...

On the local buoy , we have an wave height reading of 5.6 feet at 15 seconds, changed from yesterday 5.2 feet at 6 seconds.

The wind is NNW
(see data here: The Pier) , but the marine forecast is calling for NE winds today at 5-10 mph.

7:25 am... Definitely larger than the wave size yesterday, and favorable winds this morning... 1.5 to 2 feet and NNW winds... Cold, but there are a couple if you got the need...

11:45 am...   Larger surf than yesterday...  and the surf has picked up considerably since Kristina's down patrol report.    At mid morning the surf looked super fun as you can see by the photos in the front end of the slide show in box #3.   They were taken around 8:45 am.   How about some of those rights!  The wind was sideoffshore then.
Since then, the wind has clocked NNE and picked up. So it's choppier now.   The last 6 pictures in the slide show were taken around 11:30 am, and you can see it's not as good as some of the photos from earlier...

4:24 pm...   Mushy and semi-choppy late this afternoon.  The onshores are still with us.  The wave size leveled off and the chop has continued.   New photos are up in box #3 so you can see for yourself...
