Comments:
6:55 am...  Large Earl Swell early on this Thursday morning.  Choppy still, but that could change later today.  Preliminary photos are up in box #1

The  local buoy is registering 11 feet at 16 seconds up from yesterdays 6.2 feet at 16 .    The marine forecast calling for N then NW winds today.

11 am...  Still stormy with very very large surf.   Really big, but not ginormous.  Sideshorish winds still, as of report time.  Check the photos in box #1, and we will get new photos up by lunchtime.  See fyi note just below...

* FYI department:  Dang it dang it dang it. Our server crashed this morning (and we are slowly figuring out how to bring it back up).   Way way way too much traffic for our server to handle. If any computer geeks out there have ideas on how we can prevent this in the future, please let us know. Our computer guys are stumped.

* Evening note from last night left up:
8 pm Evening note:  Fun surf this evening as the Earl swell arrives.  Many surfers getting their warm ups in and 18 new photos taken from the pier are up in the back end of box #3.  You can see that although choppy there is some spray off a few of the rights, at times.  Some fun drops and schwackable sections.
We will be back early in the morning with a fresh update.  Over and out..
